General Trash Service FAQs

  • What items are allowed in my weekly trash pickup?

    All trash must be bagged before being placed at the curb. Small household waste is acceptable as long as it complies with our guidelines

  • What items are NOT accepted in regular trash pickup?

    We do not pick up the following items:

    • Yard debris (leaves, grass, sticks, limbs)

    • Construction debris

    • Batteries or electronics

    • Liquids

    • Mattresses or box springs

    • Paint cans (unless paint is completely dry and the lid is removed)

    • Gas cans (unless container is dry and the top is removed)

    • Cat litter (unless bagged and tied)


  • When should my trash be placed at the curb?

    Please have trash out the day before your scheduled pickup. Pickup is weekly, and days vary depending on your location.

Recycling Service FAQs

  • How should I prepare my recycling?

    Recycling must be clean and loose—do not bag your recyclables.

  • What items are NOT accepted for recycling?

    Do not place these items in your recycling bin:

    • Glass

    • Shredded paper

    • Trash or contaminated items


  • When is recycling picked up?

    Recycling pickup takes place every other Monday. Please contact our office if you need a recycling schedule. Items should be placed at the curb the day before pickup.

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental FAQs

  • What size dumpsters do you offer?

    We offer 15-yard and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters suitable for cleanouts, remodeling, or construction projects.

  • How long can I keep the dumpster?

    Dumpsters can be rented at a flat rate for a minimum two-week period or on a monthly rental basis. Please call our office for availability and pricing.

  • Is a contract required?

    Yes. A signed contract is required for all dumpster rentals. The contract includes a detailed list of prohibited items.

Payments & Billing FAQs

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We offer several convenient payment options:

    • By phone: Pay with a debit or credit card

    • By mail: Send a check or money order

    • Online: Pay at claytonandhurdle.net (include your customer number and service address)

    • Recurring payments: Contact our office to set up quarterly autopay with a debit or credit card

    • In person: Pay with cash, check, money order, or debit/credit card at
